EAMS
 

The EAMS commands allow you to obtain information from the DIR/DWC databases and to create and submit packets.

 

Get filing information

Syntax: eams.filings "msg id" "first name" "last name" "date of birth" city zip(LF)

Returns all filings for the given applicant. Any missing information must be passsed as an empty string.

The information is returned as a JSON array. You can see an example of the file here

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The filings were retrieved.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to retrieve filings.

 

Get single filing

Syntax: eams.filing "msg id" "adj number"(LF)

Retrieves the information for one filing.

The information is returned as a JSON object, in the same format as the filings command.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The filings were retrieved.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to retrieve filings.

Get matching names

Syntax: eams.matches "msg id" "first name" "last name" "date of birth" city zip(LF)

Retrieves a list of name matches. Any missing information must be passsed as an empty string.

The information is returned as a JSON array. You can see an example of the file here

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The matches were retrieved.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to retrieve matches.

 

Create applicant folder

Syntax: eams.createapp "msg id" "first name" "last name" "date of birth" city zip "reference number"(LF)

Creates an applicant folder and retrieves the filings. The folder will be named:

      last name, first name - date of birth - reference number

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "applicant folder"(LF)
    The folder was created.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to create folder.

 

Get applicants list

Syntax: eams.apps "msg id" "applicant patt"(LF)

Returns the list of applicants that match the pattern.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "app#1 name" "app#2 name" ... "app#n name"(LF)
    List has been retrieved.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to list applicants.

 

Retrieve applicant information

Syntax: eams.getapp "msg id" "applicant folder"(LF)

Retrieves the applicant's information. Note that what is passed is the folder name of the applicant.

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    Information retrieved.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to retrieve information.

 

Store applicant information

Syntax: eams.setapp "msg id" "applicant folder" "stream id"(LF)

Stores the applicant's information. Note that what is passed is the folder name of the applicant.

The information must be in the same format as shown in the retrieve applicant information example.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    Information stored.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to store information.

 

Fetch applicant filings

Syntax: eams.setapp "msg id" "applicant folder"(LF)

Fetches the filings for the applicant.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" count(LF)
    Filings fetched. If the count is -1, the DIR/DWC website is not available.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to fetch filings.

 

Get packet definitions

Syntax: eams.pktdef "msg id"(LF)

Returns a JSON object with the packet definitions.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    Definitions fetched. They can be obtained in the stream given.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to retrieve definitions.

 

Create packet

Syntax: eams.createpacket "msg id" "applicant folder" "packet name" opt#1 opt#2 ... opt#n(LF)

Creates a packet for the applicant given. Note that what is passed is the folder name of the applicant.

The options are a mix of filing numbers and attachment names:

ADJ####### - Filing to include in the packet.

+form name - Include this form as an attachment.

-form name - Exclude this form from attachments.

These are the packets available:

  • Answer to Application
  • Application for Adjudication of Claim
  • Compromise and Release
  • Declaration of Readiness to Procced
  • Declaration of Readiness to Procced (Expedited)
  • Notice and Request for Allowance of Lien
  • Notice of Dismissal of Attorney
  • Objection to Summary Rating
  • Petition for Reconsideration
  • Petition to Terminate Liability for Temporary Disability Indemnity
  • Request for Summary Rating Determination of PTP Report
  • Request for Summary Rating Determination of QME Report
  • Stipulation with Request for Awards
  • Trial Exhibit

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "form locator"(LF)
    Master form of the packet has been created. The locator string for the master form is returned. The rest of the packet is created in a separate process.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to create packet.

 

Get packet list

Syntax: eams.apppackets "msg id" "applicant folder"(LF)

Returns the list of packets for the applicant.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "packet#1 name" "packet#2 name" ... "packet#n name"(LF)
    Applicant is valid.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to find applicant.

 

Get forms list

Syntax: eams.appforms "msg id" "applicant folder" "packet name"(LF)

Returns the list of forms in the packet.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "form#1 name" "form#2 name" ... "form#n name"(LF)
    Packet is valid.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to find packet.

 

Retrieve form information

Syntax: eams.getform "msg id" "applicant folder" "packet name" "form name"(LF)

Retrieves the field contents of the form.

The information is returned as a JSON object. You can see how to get the field names corresponding to the form here.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The form contents are returned.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to get the form contents.

 

Store form information

Syntax: eams.setform "msg id" "applicant folder" "packet name" "form name" "stream id"(LF)

Stores the field contents of the form.

The information must be in the same format at shown above.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    Data was stored.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to store data.

 

Upload attachment

Syntax: eams.upload "applicant folder" "packet name" "form name" "stream id"(LF)

Uploads an attachment.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    Upload successful.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Failed to upload.

 

Submit packet

Syntax: eams.submit "msg id" "msg id" "applicant folder" "packet name"(LF)

Submit a packet to JETFile. Note that submitting a packet does not mean that the filing will take place. You will receive the notifications as you would when submitting via the DMNSion Portal.

These are the packets available for JETFile:

  • Answer to Application
  • Application for Adjudication of Claim
  • Compromise and Release
  • Declaration of Readiness to Procced
  • Declaration of Readiness to Procced (Expedited)
  • Notice and Request for Allowance of Lien
  • Stipulation with Request for Awards

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    Packet submitted.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to submit.

 

Retrieve JETFile report

Syntax: report.qestatus "msg id"(LF)

Retrieves the JETFile status report.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The report stream is returned.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to generate the report.

 

Retrieve Calendar report

Syntax: report.qecalendar "msg id" "from date" "to date"(LF)

Retrieves the Calendar for the period given.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "stream id"(LF)
    The report stream is returned.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Unable to generate the report.
