Transfers
 

The transfer commandsallow you to communicate with SMTP, FTP and SFTP servers.

 

EMail Post

Syntax: email.post "msg id" "server address" "login name" "login pwd" "to list' subject message "file name" "file location"(LF)

Sends an E-Mail message. The to list is a semi-colon delimited list of e-mail addresses and the file name and file location are optional.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    Mail sent.
  • FAIL "msg id"
    Unable to send mail.

 

FTP Get

Syntax: ftp.get "msg id" "server address" "login name" "login pwd" "file location"(LF)

Retrieves a file from an FTP server.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "file id" "stream id"(LF)
    The file was retrieved and stored under the id given.
  • FAIL "msg id"
    Unable to retrieve file.

 

FTP Put

Syntax: ftp.post "msg id" "server address" "login name" "login pwd" "file location" "file id"(LF)

Stores a file into an FTP server.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    File stored succesfully.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Transfer failed.

 

SFTP Get

Syntax: sftp.get "msg id" "server address" "login name" "login pwd" "file location"(LF)

Retrieves a file from an SFTP server.

Results:

  • OK "msg id" "file id" "stream id"(LF)
    The file was retrieved and stored under the id given.
  • FAIL "msg id"
    Unable to retrieve file.

 

SFTP Put

Syntax: sftp.post "msg id" "server address" "login name" "login pwd" "file location" "file id"(LF)

Stores a file into an SFTP server.

Results:

  • OK "msg id"(LF)
    File stored succesfully.
  • FAIL "msg id"(LF)
    Transfer failed.
